Two more to join the ranks!
Phew!
Originally the first zombie I painted was my favourite, but a new zombie has stolen my heart!
Have finished my 3rd and 4th undead and now beginning to look like a pretty hardcore horde!
I'm glad I have a skelly army to work on as I can imagine the 16 more zombies I have would get slightly repetitive - however as I was able to build them how I like, their all very different anyway so I'm happy to have more to paint!
I'm keeping a uniform colour of blues/greens and browns for clothing.
My new favourite zombie is my collector, as I call him. He's a blood thirsty trophy hunter and as you can see, has his collection very much started! With a decaying human head and the top half of somebody's husband, father or brother... He's a pretty happy zombie! So am I - he took longer for the details but well worth the effort, even with the nails hammered into his weapon, think it really improves the model

Zombie one - officially raised!
So my first real attempt at warhammer figure painting and my first Zombie from my forthcoming army is officially raised from the dead and ready to be joined by other unlucky souls!
It took ages! A good 2/3 hours work but I really wanted to perfect what I could and pay plenty of attention to detail - I've been so impressed by some works I've seen online and really want to work towards such brilliant painting results
A few pictures below and a HD vid just because it picks up details better than the pics
The colours used:
Dheneb stone
Tallarn flesh
Shadow grey
Karmi brow
Chaos black
Calthan brown
Scorched brown
Experimented with all of the washes in the range

Army assembled
Rise! Riiise! RISE!!
Zombie army assembled - I found myself wishing I had more parts because of all the fantastic gruesome combinations I found myself making while creating my army - all as deranged and blood thirsty as each other.
Hoping to give them all a base spray with skull white later today - I thought I'd easily get bored of the construction but actually I loved creating the army - although my zombies often created themselves!
A few pictures below - hoping they will photograph better once they have been base sprayed - otherwise I'll get the camera out as all the pics currently have been taken with my iPhone
